Our Guaranty
All items are authentic original works as described, and were published at or about the date stated. Occasionally we offer facsimiles or reproductions which are useful for research or study, and they will be described as such.
Our Terms
Map and print dimensions are of the printed area, height first. Books are octavo-size hardcover (novel-size) unless stated otherwise. Most items are single copies; all are offered subject to prior sale.
Undamaged goods are returnable for any reason within ten days of receipt. Please notify us promptly if you wish to return anything. Refunds are for the amount of purchase plus shipping only. Please carefully wrap and insure returns. All goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
Abbreviations: BW = black & white, i.e., uncolored; cf = centerfold; col = color; cont or contemp = color is contemporary with publication; dp = double-page; ill or illus = illustration(s) or illustrated; olc = outline color; orig = original; pl = plate(s); transf = transference

We accept checks, VISA / MASTERCARD / DISCOVER. Checks must be payable in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Illinois residents please add 9% tax. On credit card orders we need your billing address if it is different from the shipping address, as our credit card processing system requires address verification.
You can send us credit card information by fax, telephone or in two separate email messages (put the first two sets of card numbers in the first email, and the second two sets of numbers + the expiration date in the second message). We recommend telephone during regular business hours or fax. Our fax is a stand-alone machine with no memory, thus secure against outside access.
Shipping
Shipping charges within the United States are $6.00 per order. Foreign shipments are $15.00 per order. Goods will be sent promptly by mail upon receipt of payment. Maps and prints are shipped by priority mail within the United States, and air mail for overseas. Books are sent by surface mail.
There may be additional charges for oversize or heavy items, framed items, sets of books, Express Mail, Federal Express, UPS, registered mail or other special services. Please let us know if you have any special shipping requirements.
Your Privacy
We use your personal information only for verification and processing of your order, and to send you offers of maps, books, prints and related material. If you do not wish to receive such offers, please let us know and we will remove your name from our mailing list. We do not sell or rent our clients' personal information for direct marketing or telemarketing purposes.
Security
We strive to maintain security of your personal information. We use the Simple Security System - no credit card numbers are stored on any computer. If you send credit card data by email (two separate messages please), we will delete the email as soon as the transaction has been processed.
