The first sheet includes Paris and extends from Rouen to Rheims, from Chartres to Chalons sur Marne; Montmarte is shown separately from Paris. The second sheet extends from Orleans to Bar and from Sens to Nevers. The title cartouche, which consists of a pair of swans flanking the royal arms, with supporting figures of Minerva and Mercury and their accouterments, appears on this sheet. The scale bars are enclosed by a drape.
