There is a large inset of Liberia which contains a further inset of Monrovia, the capitol. The interior is beginning to fill in - caravan routes across the Sahara are marked; a few place names include in parentheses the names of the explorers who reported them. The mythical Mountains of Kong now extend almost the entire width of the continent, from Guinea to the Horn of Africa.
