Shows the Mississippi River from Memphis to New Orleans, and the Gulf coast east to Mobile Bay. Grant's siege of Vicksburg took place from May 19th to July 4th of 1861, and Admiral Farragut won the Battle of Mobile Bay on August 5, 1864, closing the last Confederate port on the Gulf Coast.
