A noble survivor. A four-sheet wall map originally published by Claude Roussel in 1713 and reissued by his widow. The street plan is surrounded with 35 views of notable places such as city gates, Notre Dame and the Sorbonne, each with a brief engraved historical note. Inset map of the environs of Paris, and two views of the city. The table uses 27 symbols to identify parish churches, public markets, prisons and the like.
