The Russian Empire as expanded by Peter the Great (1672-1725) with many captions, some concerning the fur trade in Siberia. The apotheosis of Peter is the focus of the cartouche which shows his vassals and conquests kneeling before him. The tribute they offer includes silks, furs, cattle and precious metals.
