Hundreds of place names shown within each of the four traditional provinces. The cartouche is signed by the other-wise unknown Groux, who replaced the name of the original engraver with his own though no changes were made to the design. Pedley (Bel Et Utile..., p. 67) speculates Groux merely "seized the opportunity" of claiming credit for the work when the atlas was republished by Delamarche. Pedley, #56, State 4.
