An impressive over-size map with geography mainly from De L'Isle, thus a relatively correct position of the Mississippi, and borders of Great Lakes. At the same time, the map includes errors such as the presence of a non-existent lake in the Southeast, the mythical town of Quivira, and Baffin Island divided in three. The grand cartouche features the ubiquitous armadillo and parrot, an Indian family, and a native Princess. A caption off the Bahamas – "here Sr. W. Pepps fish'd for the Span. Wrack" – locates the site of a sunken Spanish treasure ship recovered by Sir William "Lucky Billy" Phipps.
